Welcome to DebianArt.org now is Collab.Debian.Net/Art !

August 29, 2015 21:43, by valessiobrito - 0no comments yet

DebianArt is a place for high quality artwork and themes for the Debian Desktop. The idea is use the website for contests, creating an archive of user contributed artwork that can be freely used and included in upcoming Debian releases.

The artwork should be pleasant, yet unintrusive. Ideally, it should work well with the default user interface of the three major desktops: GNOME, KDE and Xfce; but there’s also room for more generic Debian related artwork like t-shirts, labels and system sounds.
Is necessary to register itself to be able to send your work.

Use the left menu for view or submit your ideas…

Create a character to represent Debian
Mon, Apr 25, 2011 @ 12:44 PM

There has been discussion[1] for quite some time regarding whether the Debian project should have a mascot.

Debianeros have speculated that such a mascot could be a man, a woman, an animal, or even any of various objects, all of which have arisen in early proposals[2].

If you would like to submit an image as a proposal for such a mascot, create your character and post it with the TAG: mascot

The three best proposals will get an e-mail alias: @DebianArt.org
